David Burnford

The Biodynamic farming process, introduced in the 1920’s, treats the farm as a living organism and focuses on respecting the elements that exist within it; the animals, the plants and most importantly, the soil itself. The goal is for the farm to be self-contained with a minimum of off-farm input. At Riverglen Farm, the free ranging chickens, sheep and cows naturally refresh and fertilize the soil in the pastures and the 5 acre vegetable garden enabling the members of “Intentional Eaters Community” to enjoy freshly picked chemical free produce from mid-June until mid-October.
