Dave & Rose Stewart

“There is no better life than to be a farmer; to work with the cattle and watch the crops grow in the field.” Dave and Rose practice exactly what they say, as they raise beef cattle on the 600-acre spread that has been home to the Stewart family since 1909. They converted the former dairy farm to beef in 2000 and raise their cattle according to without hormones or antibiotics. 'Shima' is the Hopi word meaning 'love' and accurately defines the essence of Shima's Farms.
The Piedmontese and Simmental herds at Shima’s Farms are noted for their docility and heavy muscle; thus producing the lean, tender beef that Dave and Rose are proud to market to their customers.
