Chef Steve Mitton, a Canadian Culinary Institute graduate and Paddy Whelan, a Stratford Chef School alumnus launched Murray Street Kitchen, Wine & Charcuterie in 2008.  The partners are passionate about “farm to fork” and “head to tail” initiatives and practice the philosophies of sustainability as they “bring what is found in the farms around the region to the table”.   Local micro-brewery beers and Canadian wines are featured and an array of jarred preserves from the previous harvest helps to offset the limitations of the short local growing season.  The unique Charcuterie Bar, offers a selection of in-house and locally prepared artisan meats, cheeses, terrines, chutneys and breads;  foods that Steve describes as “fare that is great for sharing”.
