Terry McEvoy

Terry McEvoy is from a family of beekeepers and today continues his 30-year quest to become “an expert in the birds and the bees” by managing a workforce of 20 million bees in 250 hives in the Osgoode area, while also building birdhouses for his Birdworks business.

While the production and sale of honey is obviously an important objective for Terry, he also knows the invaluable role the bees play as pollinators. He’s equally passionate about raising awareness of the health benefits of consuming local honey. The Honey Hut is a self-serve shop at 3648 Gliderway, RR3 Manotick where Honey Company products are available every day, dawn to dusk, all year round. “Remember to bring small bills and change,” advises Terry.
