Maple Country Sugarbush

Robert Hupe

Robert is a second generation maple syrup producer who works alongside his son Ross. Together they work 45 acres of sugarbush originally owned by Robert's uncle. Featuring a modern production facility housed in a unique heritage building, visitors can learn about maple syrup production while admiring the original axe notches that mark the buildings posts and beams. The Hupes take great pride in their sugarbush and are happy to welcome visitors to their farm or you can find them at the Byward Market. In addition to maple syrup, maple sugar and taffy are also both available to satisfy any sweet tooth.
