“Tying together our cheese-making operation and our family farm is a dream come true”, says Margaret as she describes the onsite
production of farmstead cheese made from the milk of the Holstein herd grazing nearby. Margaret and Ignace represent the 2nd generation of the Peters family on VLN Farms’ 650 acre spread. VLN stands for ‘vario labori natus’, translates as ‘born to be useful’ and as a motto has inspired the family since 1970.
