Shirley & Scott Deugo

John Fulton and his two brothers settled near Pakenham in the 1840's and learned the art of making maple syrup from Aboriginal peoples and Pioneer Settlers. Today, Shirley Fulton-Deugo proudly notes, “our peaceful property has been enjoyed by 6 generations of Fultons who have produced maple syrup for over 150 years”. Over the years, the operation has evolved. The original Pancake House, built in 1969 continues the tradition of welcoming guests each spring during maple syrup season and has been expanded several times.
