“Farming is the most rewarding job in the world,” declares Valerie. At Élevage Cataraqui, she and Kevin raise heritage breeds of cattle, sheep, and goats chosen for their ability to thrive in a pasture-based environment under our unique climatic conditions. “Animals are not commodities,” adds Valerie. This philosophy is expressed in the level of care and comfort that is provided at Élevage Cataraqui.

Valerie and Kevin's interest in preserving and promoting heritage breeds suited to our local environment extends to the raising of Canadian horses.
