Since taking over Domus Cafe in 1997, Chef John Taylor has been inviting his guests to “join him in the experience of defining and growing the concept of Canadian Regional Seasonal Cuisine”.  Success has been marked by the enthusiasm and loyalty of guests, enduring relationships with local producers, many awards and a cadre of chefs who have blossomed under his leadership.

Sylvia, who holds a Food & Beverage Diploma from Waterloo and is graduate Sommelier has been in the vanguard of showcasing the best in Canadian wines, winning for Domus the 2005 VQA Award of Excellence. John and Sylvia have made it Domus' mandate to help preserve local small, organic, sustainable, family farms.
